PRIVACY POLICY

TrainTime does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking. Everything stays on your watch.
LOCATION DATA
TrainTime uses your device's GPS to find nearby stations. Your location is:
- Processed entirely on your device to determine nearby stations
- Sent to the Swiss public transport API as coordinates to search for stations (see Third-Party Services below)
- Cached locally on your device as a fallback for faster startup
- Never sent to the developer or any other party
DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
- Last known position — cached for faster startup when GPS is unavailable
- Transport mode preference — your last selected mode (train, bus, or tram)
No other data is persisted. Departure information is fetched fresh and held only in memory.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Swiss Public Transport API (transport.opendata.ch)
- Used to search for nearby stations and fetch departure information
- Receives your approximate coordinates for station search and station IDs for departures
- This is a public, open-data API operated under Swiss open data principles

No other third-party services, SDKs, or APIs are used. No analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking of any kind.
DATA SHARING
None. The developer has no access to your data. All data flows directly between your device and the Swiss public transport API.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
TrainTime does not collect data from any user, including children under 13.
YOUR RIGHTS
- View your data: All data is visible within the app
- Delete your data: Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data
- Revoke location access: Disable location permission in your device settings at any time

This policy may be updated. Check the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
